Roseacre Primary Academy is looking for a motivated and highly effective KS2 teacher to join our committed team. The teaching post advertised is for a qualified teacher, preferably with some Key Stage Two teaching experience.
At our very recent Ofsted inspection, in March 2018, Roseacre continued to be a ‘Good Provider’. Governors and staff are inordinately proud of Roseacre’s reputation, its standing in the community it serves and the children who attend; they know that it is a special place to work and to learn. Governors are looking to appoint candidates who demonstrate a true desire to work at Roseacre and be part of this exceptional team.
Our Academy offers:
- A strong ethos, where the school values of: excellence, determination, respect, tolerance, courage and honesty, underpin all that we do.
- Confident, polite, hard-working children who enjoy coming to school and have great attendance.
- An nurturing environment that is supportive of children’s and adults’ mental health and wellbeing.
- The opportunity to work in a large, friendly team where communication is high priority.
- An established induction process and ongoing Professional Development that supports teachers’ development and progression.
- Support for Leadership Development at all levels – we are fully engaged in the NPQ programmes.
Here are some of the things that our recently recruited teachers have said:
“I knew that Roseacre was a good fit for me because it champions six important values that I relate to.”
“All staff are supported and challenged to do their very best.”
“Roseacre is a school with camaraderie among its staff, classrooms full of brave learners and a supportive leadership team.”
The successful candidate will:
- Be a team player.
- Develop and extend good practice through being an exemplary teacher.
- Ensure excellence and enjoyment for all of our children.
- Have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour.
Children say that they would like a teacher who:
- Listens to what we say.
- Explains things to us clearly.
- Will praise us when we deserve it.
- Will be firm (when needed) but treat us fairly.
- Embody the Roseacre Values of respect, honesty, tolerance, excellence, determination and courage.
Roseacre Primary Academy has an inclusive approach and, as such, we need someone who is caring, approachable and consistent, who can bring out the best in our children whilst maintaining high expectations. Enthusiasm, energy and a sense of humour are a must!
We take pride in our learning: we have just retained our Ofsted ‘Good’ judgement, are a “Healthy School” and have Investors in People Gold status; we have achieved the Green Flag (Eco-School), PE Gold QM and are ICT and Basic Skills QM accredited. We are currently working towards the gold standards Geography Quality Mark and the Inclusion Quality Mark. Everyone at Roseacre is committed to offering a broad and balanced curriculum; one that enables our children to shine.
