Below are the days we do P.E.
Please ensure that your child has the correct P.E kit inside school. This should include:
1 white P.E t-shirt
1 pair of white shorts
1 pair of school black pumps
If your child has pierced ears please make sure that earrings are taken out on these days or plasters are put on to cover them.
Our Year 5 children really enjoy using the netbooks and iPads while in class. They use these in lessons to support and extend their learning and understanding. The children also use ICT skills to present their findings in a variety of ways.
The children are expected to read at least 3 times a week and it will be the children's responsibility to change their book upon completion. It would be useful for you to question your child to check their understanding of what they have read. Reading records will be checked by a teaching assistant every Friday to monitor their reading at home.
Literacy and Maths
Homework is usually sent home on a Monday and it is expected that children will hand it in on the following Monday.
Brain Builder Homework
Brain builder homework will be set once per term and the children can complete a variety of creative tasks linked to their learning in school. They will be expected to complete a minimum of two tasks. The results will then be shared with their peers. We look forward to seeing to work they produce!
